These are a trading arm of Care in Bathing Ltd. They installed a walk-in shower for my parents in August 2012. Within three months the pump stopped working causing a flood and water damage. Eventually the company came and replaced it. A short time later the pump began failing intermittently, causing flooding along with the shower tray leaking through to the downstairs. In August 2013, they came again and fixed the shower tray leak and said they would replace the pump, but didn't. Since July 2014 the pump has not worked at all, so the only way to shower is standing in a bowl, so the tray does not flood. (the bath was removed to install the shower). We have sent two letters (recorded delivery) to the company and received a standard response that they will respond further within 10 days. Nothing happened. We have reported their shoddy practices and poor customer service to Trading Standards and are now looking at court action to reclaim all costs, as having lost faith in the company the problem has to be resolved through a more competent person. We have had the installation evaluated by three independent, qualified plumbers, who are all prepared to go on record as saying that it was not even necessary to have a pump with this installation and the workmanship is poor at best. My parents paid nearly £6000 for this shower..from a company who claim high standards of installation and customer service and who are supposed to make elderly peoples' life simpler......I think the is explains why we would not recommend them...unable to select a rating below one!
