With regards to an estimate for the re roofing of a terraced house, we found the quote highly favourable, very detailed and we accepted same by return.

Bill at Aire Valley was very responsive and provided a competitive quotation for the works. They completed a small section of flat roof in GRP and provided photos of their progress and upon completion for my records. I’d recommend them for other similar roofing works.

I have a part flat roofed garage and an adjacent flat concrete roofed out building. The garage roof is a felt covered wood structure. I have had the concrete roof weather proofed a number of times but a leak occurred between the two structures after a few months each time. I approached two companies who dealt with fibre glass roofing asking for a quotation. Aire Valley Builders were the only ones to reply and Bill Dearnley came up to assess the work needed. I explained what the problem was and what I wanted doing, he agreed to work out a cost and send it to me. This I received and was quite happy with the quote. A date for starting was given and I received a call to say what time they would arrive. The team arrived on time and started stripping the old roofing away. The wood under the felt was rotten so was removed back to the rafters and replaced. The work was completed and the site tidied without damage to the surrounding garden. The guys were very courteous and easy to get on with. I waited until we had a heavy rainfall before giving a revue. This we had last night and I am pleased to say the garage and out building are perfectly dry! Overall, very pleased with the work done and would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Extremely poor work done & finished cheaply, fitting a cupboard that doesn't close properly and a loft hatch and ladder incorrectly - which is now jammed shut. Rip off company. NB the one google review given 5 stars is written by the company director. Extremely dishonest.

Very poor substandard work was carried out to dormer flat roof and replacement down pipes. Needed to employ second builder to rectify leak resulting from work carried out by this company. Also replacement down pipes were not secured to wall. When I disputed the work carried out by the original builder I was threatened with legal action. The owner refused to meet me face to face to view the work or discuss. I would not recommend this company.

Had £30,000 pound of building work done and they can't even rectify what's gone wrong with the building work wouldn't be recommend them to anyone the building work was done in 2013 and things have gone wrong with the building work we have tried to contact them left loads of messages so I'm afraid that I have to see a solicitor and contact the building regulations so they don't rip anyone else off
