We had cavity wall insulation installed by RS Insulation into our 1920s house near the Hove seafront. After a few years the wall became very damp. We were advised that the installation was against all advice for cavity wall insulation as it is on a SW facing wall that is very exposed to wind and rain.
We queried with RS and were told that the company had stopped trading and they could not assist. However, it seems that the same company is trading with the same name, phone number and address! So re-registered with all the same details but not prepared to take on any of the liabilities for their poor work in the past.
