We too have suffered at the hands of David Wright of Mayfair Projects. Poor workmanship, long delays and no end of excuses for not turning up. We ended up paying for a lot of the materials and his labourer , all of which was supposed to be in the contract price, in the vain hope that he might finish the job. Eventually he admitted he was putting his company into receivership claiming he had no money. So we terminated his contract and told him not to come back. In spite of him having taken 75% of the contract price off us we could not endure the frustration, disruption, dirt and stress he was causing us any more. We found someone to finish the job who had to undo a lot of the work he had done some of which was illegal ( electrical ). Inevitably it has cost a small fortune to get the job finished. Would love to liaise with those who have also suffered and glad to consider joining in any legal proceedings to try and recover some money from this guy. Watch out for David Wright and Mayfair Projects, if it still exists, and Heritage Installations which I believe he also operates under.

I am following this up with another company that David Wright has opened, Mayfair Projects LTD. David Wright have scammed customers for their deposits in similar ways. I too have paid him a deposit of 2k for bi-fold doors and got months and months of excuses. Nothing was ever produced and I'm taking him to court for my money. He wishes me luck as his company has already stopped trading. Please report him to Action Fraud and stop this person Judy

Please do NOT use this company. I paid a deposit in July 2014 and after months of excuses have still not had my doors fitted. In fact, they still haven't been ordered. This company is NOT what it seems. Please DO NOT make the same mistake that I did !!
