Avoid at all cost, never thought I’d ever have to write such an awful review. But 4 weeks after my initial complaint about leaking windows that were fitted roughly one year ago, by Tom Callaghan windows. The only response from mr Callaghan and his wife was go to Velux. As there is no warranty with them. Yet every van and advert I see is 10 year guarantee. I even sent them a copy of my own guarantee given at time of purchase as they said they don’t hold a copy of any guarantees on file (utter rubbish) that clearly states all works guaranteed. Please look at my photos to show you the damage that has been done by mr Callaghan and his fitters. I have had to give up calling and emailing as I simply get no response now. And have had to get an independent fitter out to look at the issue. As the water is pouring in and causing a lot of damage internally. Needless to say the issue was caused by mr Callaghan and his fitters. Now mistakes happen, everyone is allowed an off day. But what upsets me the most is that me Callaghan refused to honour is guarantee and has not even been to look at the issues. Instead he has tried every excuse possible to get out of it. And in the end simply stopped returning my calls in the Hope I would go away. Which I have. I have taken my business elsewhere. The attitude and customer service received throughout this issue has been appalling. I have done everything asked of me by Tom Callaghan Windows. Sending proof of purchase, emailing photos. But to be just left chasing my tail. If you are thinking about getting new doors or windows then I’d suggest looking elsewhere for peace of mind as it appears once mr Callaghan has your money he has no interest in the quality of his work afterwards. Or fixing any issues And mr Callaghan I would be very grateful if you would like to reply or respond to any one of my emails or phone calls. Your poor receptionist must be sick of my voice by now. Having just had my windows,doors and roofline all replaced by this company I just had to record my experiences on the matter. All the staff associated in the execution of the business from start to finish were very polite,courteous and the installation teams,namely Peter,Harvey (roofline) Barry, Michael (window/doors) worked very conscientiously to accomplish a finish that is simply stunning,sheer excellence,and yes they did clean up every day.Work began and completed as scheduled. My sincere thanks go to Tom and Liz Callaghan for their time, input and commitment to ensure the final outcome. I am one very happy customer.
