We had Aaron the engineer and his mate to come and fix a few things on our doors and thought we would just comments on how professional they were. Calling us an hour before they were scheduled to arrive and providing us with a fantastic service. I would have to say the only thing that need improvement in my opinion is the waiting time, however we understand that New Wave have just had a new Customer Service manager (Graz) and Engineer (Aaron) and have to applaud them on their fantastic service in getting our issue sorted.

Great Installation from the New Wave Team who were very informative, courteous and efficient. Customer care could do with a little improvement although i'm told there is now a whole new team dealing with aftercare. Thank you for a very professional service.

I had an issue with one of my glass units shattering on my New Wave doors, completely my fault but the efficiency of the New Wave team was fantastic. I explained the situation to Nick who took down all of my details and reassured me he would make it a priority case due to my circumstances at home. Graz the Customer service manager was lovely and talked me through their steps of procedure and kept me updated on when the new glass unit would be in. Aaron and Cameron came to replace the glass panel and were so polite and courteous to me, i would have to say New Wave are an amazing team and i would recommend them to any potential customers. 5 star service!!!

Great doors that we would recommend to any potential New Wave Customer. Fitting team were fantastic, very efficient in their job and completed our installation with such a professional manor. The only improvement i would have is if the communication was to a better satisfaction.

Fantastic Efficiency from both Mike and Connor and they were so professional too!!! Earlier communication regarding our fitting date would be an improvement on your service levels however i have to say these doors are fantastic and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an alternative to a bi-fold doors.

We found the fitter and his work mate to be very efficient and professional on our install this week of our PVC Doors. Now the doors are in we are very happy with the product and would highly recommend these doors. The one thing New Wave could improve on is the communication aspect of installation team. I believe there was a mix up with the order that took a while to resolve. All in all the product is fantastic and we would happily recommend these doors to any potential customers New Wave may have.

Fantastic Product and would highly recommend these doors to anyone looking at extending their property. We meet the New Wave team at the Shepton Mallet Show back in 2015 and they have been keeping in touch throughout our build and answering any questions we may have. The fitters Mike and Connor were fantastic and so professional when it came to their job in hand, it was so nice to see fitters that are courteous and efficient in their job.

We had our doors installed on the 17th October this year and found Dave the fitter and his work mate to be very polite and professional while fitting our doors. It was so nice to see tradesman tidy up behind them and help with any questions or queries i had on the doors themselves. I have to say we are very happy with the doors and cant wait to use them. The only thing stopping this being a 5 star review is the communication side of things with New Wave, i would just like a little more communication of what day the doors were being fitted. Overall though the doors are fantastic and i would strongly recommend these doors to anyone potential having any kind of extension on their home.

Fantastic product and such an innovate idea on the old bi folds. Fitters were fantastic and showed us the ropes on how to fit the doors on site. We found communication with the team to be more than suffice and would happily recommend these doors to any of our potential customers. Just need some trim for the top as our opening are on a slight slant.

I would just like to thank the New Wave Team for bearing with me during the whole process, indecision can be very frustrating and you have all been extremely supportive. Mike and Connor the fitters were very efficient and professional when they came to fit my doors on Monday the 23rd, showing me how the doors worked and how to keep them free of debris. I am very happy and would strongly recommend this great product to anyone looking at bi-folding doors or similar.

Keith was very polite on arrival to fit our doors, we found him to be very professional, helpful and friendly. New Wave got the job done despite the delays we incurred along the way. We a very happy now that the doors are in our property and would recommend the New Wave doors to any potential customer.

Terrible customer service. The saga of our contact with this company is listed below, but in essence they provide virtually zero customer service. The doors were eventually fitted, but supplied without the components for the 3 locking bolts. The engineers (who are contractors and helpful and polite) did revisit to fir the missing items, but they had again been supplied with wrong size fittings from New Wave. We are still waiting for the work to be completed. Angered by the frustration caused by their inadequate service I wrote to the Director (a Mrs Morris is the only name I have been given), but have received no acknowledgement or reply to my complaints. A Director should take responsibility for the company, but I have been told she takes no interest in the day to day running of the company and all complaints are managed by her staff. This makes it impossible to raise issues regarding the staff with any senior managers. A totally unacceptable arrangement. The letter below is a copy of the letter sent to the Director, but inevitably no reply or explanation of why they are so poor at delivering a decent service has been received. This letter was sent before we found out the door locks has not been fitted correctly, so no mention of our unresolved problem is included in the letter. "I have been given your name as one of the owners of New Wave Doors and it is my belief that you need to be aware that your business currently offers the worst customer care I have ever experienced. I placed an order for doors 6th July and was given a estimate for delivery of w/c 4th September. I tried to make contact with your installation department towards the end of August to confirm a delivery date. After repeated calls that went unanswered and voicemail messages that were not returned, I eventually got through to someone who said they would contact me shortly with a planned date for delivery. During this call, when I asked why my previous calls and messages were unanswered, I was told she is extremely busy (she used the phrase “can’t you here all the phones ringing and I am the only one here”) and did not have time to deal with all the calls. However she said it was planned for Thursday Sept 7th but would be confirmed early in that week. I received no call by Tues 5th, so yet again attempted to contact the installations team – after several aborted attempts I managed to speak with someone who said the doors would not be delivered on the day indicated and would be coming in the w/c 11th September. Despite the inconvenience this caused - I had already booked my builder to be present on the day of installation to deal with any snags - I accepted the delayed delivery. I called again at the on Friday 8th and again had difficulty getting through to anyone. Once I managed to make contact I was told I would receive a call on Monday 11th to confirm delivery. Monday came and went with no calls or emails. On the morning of Tuesday 12th I called but again faced the barrier of unanswered phone calls, including attempts to contact the sales people. Now angry and frustrated by the inadequate quality of customer service, I sent an email to all 3 email addresses I had for New Wave Doors (Sales, Orders & Installations). Predictably given my experience with your company these went unanswered and no one tried to contact me. I called the sales department at 2pm to try to get response and spoke with Nick who said he would go to the installations team to get some answers. Again, no response from anyone, so I called Nick at 3.30. He then said had spoken with them and they would call before 4pm. Why Nick didn’t call me back give this information is a mystery. In any case, given the pathetic level of customer care from your company, it was no surprise that no call was received. I called at 4.15 and spoke with someone in installations. No apology or explanation was given for absence of any direct contact with me. However I was told that installation is scheduled for Thursday. I said I had not had any email or request for the balance payment. She said the details would have been on the original documents from the time the order was placed. I explained that was a long time ago and she agreed to send an email immediately so I could complete the payment. No email arrived. At 9am Wednesday I called and was told the person who was dealing with my installation was not yet at her desk. I asked for her to call me when she arrived. At 9.30 I received a call (hurrah! the first time anyone has called me back). She said the email had been sent but it appears an incorrect email address had been used. I ask for it to be sent again. To avoid further delays I asked her to state the outstanding balance, so it could be paid if her email was still delayed. I paid the balance and emailed at 9:45 to confirm payment. In the email I requested acknowledgement that payment has been made confirmation delivery would take place. I also mentioned the fact that the original email had still not been received. Again no email was received acknowledging payment or confirming delivery. I called yet again and was advised payment had been received and the delivery would take place. Despite this I still needed a copy of the email for my records, but this did not arrive. Anxiously on Thursday I awaited the delivery and installation. The door delivery arrived around 10am and I was assured the fitters would arrive by noon, which proved to be correct. The installation went fairly smoothly, although we had a problem in that the sample for the bottom rail that was supplied measured 180mm, but the actual bottom rail has a 150mm size. This has meant the builders worked to the wrong measurements and we will need to carry out remedial work on the interior finish to complete the job. Overall the performance of your company is abysmal. A total lack of customer care, accompanied by an indifferent (and often rude) response by your staff cannot be a basis for you to build a successful business. If this attitude emanates from the top (i.e. the directors and senior management) I suspect this letter will be disregarded, just like all other contact I have had with your company. If you have any interest in addressing the problems you have in the administration of your company I would be pleased to discuss my experience with you or any senior member of your team. My business experience has been in IT systems for nearly 40 years and it is clear to me that you need to change the attitude of your staff, either by retraining them or replacing them, or adopt a more professional approach to customer contact. They are numerous Customer Relationship Management systems available in the IT world – any of which would make a difference to the way your business operates. The New Wave Doors seem to be a good product, but I have recently seen other similar doors being offered and unless your company changes it methods, I cannot see how you can compete with the alternative suppliers. Dave installed our doors and i must say he completed them in a completely professional manner , he was very polite and courteous and left our house free of any work debris. We are very happy with our doors and found the communication with the team satisfactory.

An excellent product with an excellent installations team. The fitters were very polite and completed our installation in a professional manner. We are very pleased we decided on the integral blind option with the doors as they look fantastic with them in. The communication with the New Wave Team was brilliant and i cant think of anything else they could possibly improve on. I would definitely recommend these doors to any potential customers who are looking for some doors to finish off their project.

Our installation was on the 29th of August and i must say i was very impressed with our installer Keith. I found him to be very courteous toward myself and very professional when i asked him several questions. I have been waiting on the installation of these doors since i saw them at the Grand Design Show back in May 2015. The only downfall i would have to say with New Wave is the communication with Head Office and would say they do need to increase the resources in HO/installations Team. However now the doors have been fitted i would strongly recommend these to any potential customer, the idea of using them all year round compared to other doors on the market makes them very worth while looking into.

I was Completely sold on the product of the 'slide and swing' doors at the Home Build and Renovation Show at the NEC in March this year. I found the fitters Connor and Mike to be very good an informative with a very professional manner leaving our home free of any debris that they made. After reading a few reviews i would agree that the communication can be better when it comes down to the installation but i would say they do need to just keep customers more informed of any delay. The Doors are fabulous though and worth the wait to see them in our home.

I had my Doors fitted via Keith on the 16th August and must say he was a delight. He has very helpful and showed us how to use the doors and maintain them to keep them looking at their best. The product itself is something completely different to anything we have seen in the UK and are very happy with them, lets hope the weather stays nice enough for us to get the full use out of them for this year!!

The communication within the company can be a little lackluster, they do need to improve on the customer service and be more proactive rather than reactive when it comes to the communication side of things. The product is fantastic the communication needs improvement!!

Both Connor and Mike were great and very professional within the job they had. The doors themselves are fantastic and i'm very happy with them. Could improve on the last minute communication for the final payment the day before the installation, but i do have to say that i would recommend these doors to any potential customers that are looking for something different when it comes to doors.

Today we had a visit from New Waves service engineer Aaron, we would just like to say how helpful and professional he has been. He listened to us, understood the problem and rectified it. He spoke to us at a level that we could understand which is very refreshing. In addition to all of this he also identified a further problem that we had not noticed/identified with our doors. He returned later the same day having collected some extra parts and rectified this problem promptly too. We have to admit we are very please and impressed with the service and would like to thank Aaron and all involved for their help with this matter.

We found Mike and Connor extremely courteous and friendly. They worked to a high standard and were both very efficient in their work and found that they also completed their installations in a very professional manner. Appalling after sales service. Broken promises.. ..phone calls and emails over several weeks not response to.. ..problems with doors since fitting day, ..6 weeks later still waiting for a fitter to come and rectify issues.. appointments made.. fitter.doesn't turn up..

After waiting a long time for the doors to arrive they were installed in such a poor state that they were dangerous to use . We contacted Legacy on many occasions to correct the issue but they never responded and led us on for many weeks that they would return to sort the issues out., 3 months passed and I decided to report this to our credit card company who after investigating claimed the funds back and returned them to me. Once Legacy realised this prompted them to contact me and apologised and promised to sort the problems out. Their install team finally arrived on site this was another month down later because I again reported that the doors will not lock and comprimised the security. The install team decided that if they cut down the bolt this will sort the problem out. It did not and it made the issue worse. They sent another team out who reported to us that this install was the worst they have ever seen. The doors still do not work correctly and they have promised again and again to sort this out but guess what. NO THEY HAVE NOT

What a huge disappointment New Wave doors are. They were 2 days late coming to fit them then did not have all the bits they needed ( the installers arrived in a car). Here we are nearly 3 weeks later still waiting for a date for them to finish the work and for my house to be made secure. I call them everyday as no one ever calls back when promised. They have all of my money so why would they want to rush to come back. I am so disappointed and do not know what to do next. Please come and sort this out.

Its hard to know where to start when discussing Legacy windows. The technology , the idea and the principle behind their product is excellent, but their customer service and at times I would suggest the honestly of the team I have dealt with must be thrown into question. In our case, we ordered two sets of doors for our new extension at a show. All was well with the world, the measurement kit arrived , we accurately sent back the measurements for installation, hell I even recommended a friend look at their product. I should have figured out there might be problems when they didn't take card payments, instead a clear funds transfer only was requested. I call up to confirm the delivery date, to get told yes its all on track the doors are being made now. I arrange for the boarded up 8 meter wide hole in the back of our house to be taken down ready for the windows. 10am comes and , no windows ... , i discover the windows haunt left the factory yet there had been some manufacturing problem ... a further call , they are not coming today. So i instruct the builders to board it all back up again ... ok, these things happen but no call or update was sent and the extra work for the team cost me money.... Following week, Yes they are coming they will be with you tomorrow... I arrange the builders to take down the boarding again ( sorry i never mentioned that this is the November ) and we wait for them to be delivered. I call in the morning and get told the doors are still in Bristol where they are based at 10am. Now we are in Surrey so best case they where going to get there with only a few hours to spare of daylight for fitting. So I eventually get a call from Claire who tells me that the windows are on their way and that their fitters will use lights to allow them to fit them even though it will be dark. This all sounds suspicious but with disbelief in my voice I agree. 5pm in the evening in pitch black a 60+ sales person shows up in a van with the windows with no way to unload the glass. He calls the office after dealing with myself and my very angry builder complaining about no fitter and the health and safety risk, and the risk of me the customer suing them. The fitter eventually calls , a chap called Keith he didn't know anything about it , and wouldn't be able to get to us till around 8 or 9 pm, and he didn't have the lights that Claire had said he would have anyway. The sales person ( Alan ) is standing in my driveway freezing to death with the time now 6pm+ , my house completely insecure and un-boarded, a van load of glass I need , and all the sympathy in the world to the rubbish we had been told. At this point , I am forced to make a decision .. They have my money, I need the windows , this poor guy is as messed about as we have been , my builder is about to go home after waiting for 2.5 extra hours , I give in and agree to help Alan unload the doors ( £8ks worth ) and store them inside the house. We board up the house its now 8pm I wish him a safe trip. I am yet more money down and even more stressed. Eventually the fitters arrive , and the doors are fitted. During the fitting the fitter , Keith mentions that he thinks one of the doors is bowed or the metal at the sides isnt correct. He leaves .. Two days later when we are checking the doors out property , we find they scratch the track at the top , not big , but the scratch and one door 'catches' slighty on the metal work at the sides causing a it to 'bang'. We report this , and after a week of arguing , they return to make some adjustments. I learn then that they have only been doing this for 3 months and the fitter voices his opinion on how disorganised Legacy are, all witnessed by my builder on site. At this point we at least have the doors in , and the kitchen one works as expected. But another day of extra expense while I wait for them to have arrived. ( Its worth noting that I am not really articulating the sense of stress or the lack of enthusiasm to help we have felt all the way through this process. Starting with being misled, left to fend for ourselves , having to rescue our selves from their lack of communication , when challenged and caught out , half truths and get me off the phone tactics. All leading to high and higher levels of stress given the cost of the product we had installed. ) Wind forward now to spring, the kitchen and living room are now edging to wards completion and are turning into rooms so the master doors start to get used. We then discover kitchen door is catching on the rubber track to the extent that it rips it off and the living room master door , bangs when its opened do to it completely not fitting correctly... more investigation reveals that the problem is they are warming up and expanding in their openings which should , in theory be an adjustable.... So we contact Legacy again. Dreading the call I ask my wife to do it, knowing that if they start their shenanigans again , I will lose my rag. But wait , they seem to have changed in the months since last contact , pleasant person calls me back discusses the faults and arranges to send the fitters to make a few adjustments and get the doors working. So I take the day off again, and wait ... nothing , no calls , nothing .... at 4pm I get a call from 'Keith' saying he's not coming today because he's been held up on another job. at it will be , wait for it , 8 or 9pm before he can bet there. No one called , no one reached out to us , nothing. Another day lost income for me waiting in . Keith went on to start defending his originally installation saying ' something must have happened to them , I have videos showing them working perfectly ', i replied ' I would love to see those, perhaps we can look at them when your here, when do you think you can come now ? ' , ' I don't know perhaps tomorrow , perhaps early next week, you will need to call Legacy and arrange with them'. I wait two days , eventually I call up , get a person on the phone who quite flustered says , ' Claire will call you back tomorrow' .... I am still waiting for Claire to call back , its been nearly 3 weeks now ... My advice to anyone is when you go to the show , see the product , and their booth. Step back for a moment , go a walk round it Bi-Fold express and look at their stand or any of the other windows folks, and return to 'New Wave'. Look at their t-shirts , Look at the fact they can accept cards in their stand , but not for the big sums they want direct transferred and pause and reflect on all those 1 star ratings you see around this post. ... I personally like the doors , when they work , but I HATE and cannot recommend the companies attitude to its customers.

Had new wave doors installed Dec 2015. The integral blinds were faulty. They eventually came back and change it only to fit a Scratch glass which the fitters called in. After numerous attempts to get them back they still haven't fixed the problem. We cannot get through, they will not return calls or emails we are now claiming from the credit card company because we insisted on paying the deposit on credit card.

If there was "zero stars" that's what this company would be given. We spent a lot of money on these doors after seeing their product at several Homebuilding and Renovating shows across the country and mistakenly took that to mean that they were a reliable reputable company. We have a substandard product and appalling customer service. Our doors were booked in for install prior to Christmas, then delayed until 27th December. At this time although we had "glass and frames"we were left without any handles or means of opening and testing the doors until March. After repeated chasing we finally had handles that allowed us to test the doors and we found that each set (we have three sets of bifolds in total) had faults and weren't working or opening properly. Since this time we have been consistently let down by the company trying to get the faults rectified. They never return calls, when we are given a date for them to come round - we take the day off work and they just don't turn up (no call, email or courtesy whatsoever). Staff tell us that they pass messages onto Claire the MD but we have had one call from her in 5 months which was rude, abrupt and didn't produce a result. We are now having to liaise with trading standards and citizens advice bureau to get some help and support. Despite trading standards involvement Legacy (New Wave) have failed to turn up again today to carry out the promised repairs. Please don't be pulled in by the beautiful doors you see at the show, it's heartbreaking to spend this sort of money and then go through the hassle and frustration that we are currently facing.

Should be zero stars. We have been completely let down by Legacy regarding the installation of two New Wave Doors in a house we've been renovating. Building Control can't sign us off as the installation of one of the doors has not been finished and is unsafe. The door could fall out at any time and kill someone. We endured weeks of problems related to sizing and materials, the final straw was when someone spilled liquid all over the dimension figures for our doors making the notes illegible. Fortunately, our son had asked surveyor if he could take photos of the notes and measurements and Legacy were able to resume their construction of the doors. You would have thought that in the circumstances they would have made every effort to complete the job, but this wasn't to be. Stuart, the fitter, and his mate came in December, after a day's delay as doors hadn't arrived, they discovered that a vital part was missing from the larger of the doors. Stuart informed Tom, the Installations Manager and Claire in the office of the problems and, meanwhile worked really hard to make it safe for the time being. Stuart thought it best not to start on the installation of the second door as time was getting on but promised that he would do it when he returned the following week with the part for the first door. They did return the next week and fitted the part for the first door. However, when it came to installing the second door, they found another vital part was missing. There really wasn't much they could do. Once again they informed the office about the problem. My husband managed to find a piece of wood, which Stuart jammed in together with some plastic wedges. Stuart stressed that we were not to use the door but he would come back in January to fix and he would also bring matching Antique Grey trim for both doors to cover foam and brickwork showing internally and foam externally. We even said that we would pay extra for the trims although the surveyor was meant to have included these in his report. Stuart said he was worried about the rain coming in so he stuck masking tape on the vulnerable areas externally. He said that we must request him to be the fitter when the work was to be finished in January as he knew all the problems. We heard nothing, eventually we made contact in mid January and were able to speak to the new Installations Manager. She said she'd recently started the job only to find no notes had been left about our outstanding problems. My husband updated her about our situation and a few days later she phoned back. She said that she had ordered the trims for both doors and as soon as they arrived the fitters would return to finish the trims on both doors and make our second door safe and usable. Since then we've heard nothing. Despite numerous phone calls and emails no one has phoned back. Health and Safety doesn't seem to bother Legacy. The masking tape which Stuart applied is obviously blowing about and we are unable to finish decorating inside but, more importantly, our house is unsecure and we have a door which could fall out at any time and kill someone. We have got to move in within two weeks, can't put it off any longer, but dread to think what our insurance will cost. We are really disappointed, my husband has been battling cancer over the past year but we were not expecting to have to endure another battle over the doors. We can't understand how Legacy think they don't have to finish a job, it would only take one day I should think. We live in hope that eventually someone at Legacy who has a conscience will be in touch with us. Let this be a warning to anyone thinking about purchasing New Wave Doors from Legacy following their display at an exhibition.

We were looking forward to having our new doors fitted - and weren't disappointed! We haven't had chance to use them much yet, as our extension isn't finished, but they operate smoothly and look great! Dave and Shane arrived on time on the day arranged, did a great job of fitting the doors, and were courteous, knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. Excellent job!

We are very pleased with the quality of the product and the installation was excellent and the installation guys were very friendly and pleasant. However Legacy lose a star because of the poor customer service. I took a day off expecting the doors to arrive and chased them at 10am only to be told they were not ready! There seemed to be numerous excuses of no delivery men, doors not ready etc. and couldn't seem to get many answers out of them and seemed rather "aloof" (which was a worry when they had got all my money!) I was also worried after seeing bad reviews about installation. We were told we were getting them installed by people who actually work for Legacy and not sub-contractors (which is where the problem lies apparently). The door do look lovely though!

I think Legacy must be the worst company I've ever dealt with. Long wait for door. Really poor installation (our builder was horrified with the shoddy work). No handles were sent with the door and had to use our old French door handles for 2 weeks before replacements were 'urgently' couriered to me to fit myself. Door broke the day after installation and now has to be propped open with two garden chairs in order to use. 6 weeks later we are still waiting for this to be repaired. We have been given a date for the work 3 times, took time off work, and each time no one turned up. Customer services is a joke. Hardly ever anyone there to answer calls and have resolved nothing. They never call back when promised and are very good at cutting you off on the phone once you've been placed on hold for them to check something out. It appears that once they have your money they don't care.

After deciding to knock out our kitchen, whilst looking around at how to plan it, someone recommended the New Wave doors. Tom from Legacy came up to Rugby to see us to show us the doors, guided us through it every step of the way, we opted for blinds within the doors and we were sent samples to choose from. Once the builder had done the aperture the doors were fitted by Legacy, the fitters were friendly and the doors look absolutely amazing, we love the way you can have the centre section open and you have that flexibility that you do not have with bi-folds. The blinds were a must and i would strongly recommend them to anyone thinking of purchasing. Its has now been 12 months and the doors look and operate as good as they did when they went in, everyone that comes round comments on how amazing they are - thank you legacy ! would definitely recommend to others

New wave doors as a product are great but Legacy windows are a complete nightmare, the director Claire is terrible and insists she is the production manager. If you get a fitter called Ivan DO NOT USE HIM, he is terrible. Poor tools, bad workmanship and leaves the job incomplete. He has little idea about the trade despite his talk of being in it all his life! I had to threaten to go to court. Jess Russell in sales was very good and actually got new fitters out but it took 5 months from the installation date. Fitters Mike and Connor returned to almost re-do the whole job, but they were excellent and got the job done the way it should have been in the first place. Insist on Mike and Connor and you should be ok but remember they insist on money up front so you need to be prepared to go to court if necessary

It’s a shame we ever heard of LEGACY WINDOWS based in Bristol, as they have given us more hassle than any other window/door supplier in the last twenty years. We should have gone with our gut feeling when they told us that they wanted all the money up front before they would fit the windows. That should have been a clue of what was in store. We are now paying the penalty of dealing with this cowboy company. The product is OK, but LEGACY WINDOWS are Unprofessional; unreliable and unreasonable. Even the guarantee company (NetworkVeka), who incidentally do not cover then anymore, say their actions are unreasonable and recommend that we should go to Trading Standards. Two local conservatory companies we have used since, just shake their heads in horror when they hear of the treatment we have had from LEGACY WINDOWS. If you want an easy life give LEGACY WINDOWS a very wide berth.

My NWD were fitted at the end of September. There were a few issues with the doors and the build but these were resolved quickly and efficiently, even on weekends and i could not be happier now, The communication from Legacy keeping me fully informed was first class. I would happily recommend Legacy and their superb New wave Doors.

Very disappointed with our experience with Legacy Windows. The fitters are heavy handed and caused a lot of damage which you are left to deal with and the doors are not operating properly. We have had no response to any of our complaints for over two months. Customer service is poor and once you have paid up front for the product you are treated as unimportant. The trade association seems unable to exert any influence to remedy our situation..

As one extreme DIY man it was much pleasure being introduced to Legacy Windows at the Homebuilding and Renovating show on the 28th June 2015. We were 95 % down the road to purchase bi –folds but on seeing your product had no hesitation in changing direction to the Wave door system. With a very competitive quote and commitment to supply additional windows Ray gave me confidence in good service. Working in the design department it was easy to see the advantages of this excellent product. I would like to thank Hayley for providing after sales support and clear and fast communication. Only 8 weeks after our initial introduction here we are now today with an excellent Wave doors ( 3 sets ) and 2 Bespoke Kitchen windows This is all down to the Legacy Windows Team I would like to pay particular thanks to Brin and his team for the professional installation. Following a three hour journey they immediately started the wave door installation. No fuss No questions the installation was complete, cleaned and inspected with Zero snags.

We were curious about these doors and a salesman drove from Bristol with the demo van to show us the doors.We placed an order having measured up the space for the windows.They were fitted on time and we are very pleased with the doors and are much easier to use than bifold doors. What more can you wish for from them a good product fitting on time and no problems with the actual fittingly '

The New Wave Doors that have just been installed by Legacy are fantastic. I am so pleased that I chose this product as I had bifolding doors in my last house and the New Wave is so much better. The staff at Legacy are helpful and knowledgable and they worked well with my builder to get the end result we were looking for. Their workmanship and the quality of the product is first class and I must highly recoomend both the New Wave Door and Legacy.

We ordered New Wave Windows and Patio Door and Window in November 2014 after seeing their display at the home building show with expected date of delivery December 2014. After phone calls to the company the patio door arrived end of February 2015, damaged door and window with missing parts along with no door cills were fitted . After many calls, emails and letters Legacy Windows refused to deal with the issue which resulted in us going to trading Standards and then having to get our money back through the credit card company. Avoid this company like the plague, they take your money up front and don't care one jot about finishing the job. A very distressing 8 months ! If I could give no stars I would!

The worst on going experiance ever NEVER EVER use this company or thebifoldfitter who promises the most and gives the least if you have seen any programs on cowboy builders that's the thing to keep in mind. These people take your money up front that means start the job when THEY want if the job is unfinished i.e trim damage wrong size, door fell out, yes it did, badly aligned doors, scratches, like mine I have been waiting 13 weeks for them to finish a £6000 job paid in full 3 months ago they don't care one jot don't believe what they claim or say the doors are nice it's a great idea but don't buy from this company it is attrocious NEVER worth it not with this lousy company The bad reviews are the ones to look at they are the truth I found to my cost

We had a set of slide and swing patio doors fitted on a new extension, following viewing of them at a National Exhibition 2 years running. Persuaded of the benefits of these over bi-folding doors, and after ordering, we were visited by a Company representative with diagrams, samples of the cill etc. who talked to the builder. Through the Office we obtained plans to enable measurements to be made, but only after request. The builder was nervous about making these measurements, fearing if they were wrong he would have a large bill, and requested me to sign these off! There was a delay of some weeks as we requested a special colour for the window surrounds.On the day they were fitted a minor problem was overcome to the builders satisfaction. The following points are worth noting. 1. The Company work with builders and do not do measurements themselves. 2. Special colour surrounds, as mentioned by staff and literature, do take some time to order . The workmanship is very good. The field, office, and exhibition staff were courteous, efficient, punctual, helpful and did their very best to push the order through quickly. We were kept informed regularly about progress and delivery times were clearly reported ahead and on the day.Our overall feeling about the completion of the project, done in May 2015, was very positive.

I was impressed with the design of the New Wave doors, they were made quickly and well installed. Unfortunately, only 3 weeks later and a large amount of the rubber gaskets holding the windows in is just falling out. It's come out of the gap between the door frames and the windows and is just dangling there. I emailed Legacy Windows and told them and included a number of photos showing the dangling gaskets. They told me that they don't know when they can send somebody to re-fit the windows properly with the correct gasket material and the lady who looks after these things is away on holiday for two weeks and nothing will happen until she gets back. Is this what Legacy Windows service is like? Brilliant!

I am in the process of refurbishing a 60 year old bungalow and adding a new kitchen and living room. I have experience of bi-fold doors where I lived before but was intrigued by the New Wave doors as they offered me exactly what I wanted. The flexibility of the design and the quality of the product made it a 'no brainer' to choose them as part of my refurbishment. I was very impressed with the quality of the extrusions used for the doors and they were well manufactured. When the doors arrived at the end of March 2015, the installation team knew exactly what to do and installed them with the minimum of fuss and to a high standard. I am very pleased with the doors and look forward to many years enjoying the benefits they afford me.

My husband and I are very pleased with our New Wave doors and are glad that we saw them advertised on the Internet. The doors were fitted by 2 friendly and efficient fitters and everything was cleaned after they had finished. They have really enhanced the look of my new kitchen.

We are absolutely delighted with our Swing and Slide patio doors - they are amazing! We looked at many options and the minute we saw these we knew they were going to give us the flexibility we wanted with opening up the two sides of our house. They work brilliantly - so quick and easy to open and close. Thank you Legacy for the excellent product. The Malins, Peterborough.

We are so glad that we found Legacy and the New Wave Door. It has now been installed and we are very pleased with the product and looking forward to the summer when it will be put to full use. The installers Mike and Connor were very polite and listened to what I wanted as the customer and carried out a very good installation of the doors. It's early days to comment on the performance of the door but so far we ar delighted with the whole process from Legacy and the staff that we had dealings with from the start to installation and they installed a week early which was great.

Legacy Windows are the most unprofessional company we have ever had the misfortune to be involved with. They don't have a clue what they're doing, they keep moving dates for installation and sending out e-mails containing the wrong information. They also take ages to respond to emails asking for clarification on issues that have been raised. They absolutely don't deserve any business at all, they treat their customers with complete contempt. A complete joke, do not use this company unless you want a whole lot of hassle

Love Love Love my new Side and swing doors the whole job went exactly to plan, so glad that Legacy were able to liaise with my builders, as i had know idea what to do and had my concerns but everything worked itself out in the end.

After a few problems with a couple of parts which in fairness were quickly corrected,and a few changes in the installation dates given we are happy with our doors. Legacy just need to sort their telephone system out as it can be difficult to get an answer.

My experience of this company is that they offer apalling customer service. My specific experience: - the original order was delayed, which had a major knock on effect on our build schedule (internal plastering and external rendering could not be completed). The order would only be completed after payment in full. - the Nu-wave doors supplied in December 2013 have a fault but the company has consistently failed to honour its Product Guarantee despite 5 months of strenuous efforts on my part and my builder's part via e-mail, 'phone, letter, my builder's part. A letter from their Trade Body requesting that Legacy contact me to sort out the problems has been ignored. I would strongly urge others (there must be many) with a poor experience of this company to post a review so that new customers do not have to tolerate having this company as a supplier. I am now following up with Bristol Trading Standards.

had these new wave doors fitted in May had trouble ever since with doors not closing the latest being the main door falling out of frame have informed them of problems over phone but reply is we will get back to you which they never have this includes speaking to the owner Claire I'm now unable to open doors would not recommend you uses this firm

We used Legacy windows to provide doors / windows etc for our new extension. LEGACY insisted we pay for the products upfront, which in hind-sight should be avoided. The Office of Fair Trading, does not recommend upfront payment. When the products were delivered & installed there were items including glazings missing from the windows and one of the products was not in the style we had ordered. Initially LEGACY seemed interested in resolving these issues but then proceeded to hold us to randsome by refusing to rectify any issues before payment for installation was made. I argued this was never agreed upfront and that they had already started the installation without mention of the upfront installation fee, until issues with the products arose. Consequently after 10 months and a LEGACY initiated court case for payment for the istallation (which they lost because the Judge agreed the installation was not complete), non of the issues were resolved and glass remained missing from parts of the windows. The whole experience has been disasterous and they are a company I would never use again. The LEGACY windows website has many trade association bages which when I contacted them seem worthless and don’t seem to offer the consumer any protection. The products seem to be of acceptable quality but in hindsight I could have bought the same quality for less from other window companies. The LEGACY customer support however is terrible and in my opinion once they have your money, they are not interested in reolving issues. My issues with LEGACY Windows Ltd remain fully unresolved after 2 years.

Legacy sold us a set of 7 New wave folding doors. They were delivered almost 6 months late and Legacy refused to deliver them without full payment in advance. The windows were badly fitted, they leaked from day 1. The doors did not all work properly. Legacy made promise after promise to come and fix them, all broken promises. Eventually they turned up and told us Legacy was aware of a problem and was working on it and did a temporary repair, which didn't work and the windows continued to leak. Now, the doors derail and hang off the top rail in an alarming fashion. Legacy now lie to us about turning up to fix them, we have waited in on 3 occasions having been promised an engineer will attend to put the problems right. These doors do not work properly and are potentially dangerous in that it seems they can fall out and could cause serious harm to anyone near-by. The Son of the owner of the company tells us his Mother knows of the problems and will 'sort them out when she gets around to it'. I strongly recommend not having anything to do with this business and if you do, do not pay in advance. I would give the company zero stars if it were an option, we have been thoroughly ripped off by it.

Absolutely dreadful customer service....certainly wouldn't recommend them or use them again. Had an aluminium new wave door fitted earlier this year and it was a disaster from start to finish. They messed our builders about by delaying fitting dates and then to our horror on arrival the fitters had to chop chunks off the door to make it fit. After only a few months we have already got problems with the door seals and following at least a dozen unreturned calls to the company we are still no further on with having it replaced Please be aware that they expect you to pay in full prior to fitting. They also charge a whopping 4% for credit card payments.
