Very Happy with the conservatory, reasonable value for money and for the work the builders did, without to many breaks, they even worked over a weekend. But was less than happy with the timescales given and progression of the job, and if it wasn't for continuous chasing and hassling, I believe the job would have taken twice as long, as it did, and even longer than promised at the quoting stage. Even after asking to be kept informed of any changes, after the first occurrence, we were not informed of further set backs and delays. It was always us, the customer, having to chase, even for confirmation when they would be on site. But was a different story when it came to the payment stages, which were requested and excuses made to come round and collect payments. Promises were made and broken a number of times. If you are going to use Smart Conservatories be prepared to manage the project yourself, and while the conservatory may be Smart, the customer focus is far less, once you have signed the order. Beware.

i think Ian is a very good person to go through business with as he has a good builder and does a very good job.

Recently had a conservatory and full house of windows, thought it would be a complex job due man hole covers, drainage and an awkward shaped house but Ian and his colleagues did a fantastic job, constant communication to keep me updated, quality products and attention to detail. Would highly recommend Smart Conservatories and will shortly be instructing them to do my garage conversion

Nice and pleasant. Overall good job quality. Work was within quoted budget. Then why give a low star rating: In our case , a conservatory that should take maximum of 6 weeks took 4 months to complete. No reasonable good explanation was given to us. He even went on holiday during this period. Work was slow, sometimes it could go up to 2 weeks with no one on site. Communication during this period was poor. On average , they worked 1 day a week on our conservatory. 4 months with no access to our garden and reduced access to our kitchen was not nice for the children and rest of family.
