I have only given one star because Stormclad are not interested in helping clients who have traded with them in the past. We had a canopy fitted last year and were very pleased with it. This week we asked for a quotation for two infil pueces only to be told this couldn't be done as it was not cost effective to the company. In future we will only trade with companies who look after previous customers. We have recommended the company to friends but are now going to inform them to choose a company who look after customers should further work be required.

Deposit lost Signed a contract for a conservatory in December and paid a £2900 deposit. We were advised no planning permission was required. Following a survey it was discovered planning was needed and we were asked to pay another £500 for planning costs. The planning application came back in March with conditions attached. We didn’t like the changes enforced as this wasn’t what we agreed to when signing the contract so asked to cancel the contract. We were told we are only entitled to a £565.60 refund as the company have incurred sales, marketing and administration costs. We have lost £2834.40 through no fault of our own. We cannot have the specification we paid for and we cannot get our deposit back either. No materials have been ordered and we paid extra for the planning application. Had we have know this was the risk we were entering into when signing the contract we would never have paid over our deposit.

We’ve recently had a conservatory fitted by Stormclad and the whole team have been absolutely amazing! We are thrilled with the outcome and could not be happier with the service we have received. Nothing was too much and they went above and beyond to make sure that everything was perfect. Mark and Lee were such hard workers and we are so grateful for everything. Had a new roof fitted to our Conservatory. Excellent job all round. Hard working fitters ,consideration, throughout. Very satisfied .Many thanks to all concerned. Would recommend this Firm to anyone. Thank You. (grafters, Mark and Lee ) ! .

We used these for a bay fronted window and conservatory. We got told what was going to be done at the beginning and promised a lot. On install we had a skip on our drive for several weeks doing nothing. we had our back garden left in a state of unsafe for several weeks. we got promised several things but things didn't happen if it wasn't written down on the sheet. eg: they promised a stop so the door didn't open onto a pipe. it wasn't supplied and the pipe was broke before they handed over the conservatory. There is no communication given at the time to what was happening and who was coming round when They told us eventually the conservatory was done. Me and the wife spent 4 hours cleaning it to get it to a liveable standard. There three walls on the inside have three different types of brick. There is one internal wall that isn't even interlocked with another. it just as mortar joining this. I have spoken to an architect and he says this is not right and has a possibility of moving. We mentioned issues has it was being installed, we got told not to worry it is all ok. We had a lovely one peace window ledge ripped out and installed by one of there badly fitted three peace with a plastic join at each sections mess. They came back to sort issues out and still left mess about and it is a bit better but not all issues have been dealt with. If people are using these please check and double check paper work and on going work

They fitted two windows both of which are quite large size and cost in the region of over 2 thousand pounds all in. We specified the need for these to be A rated for sound and heat retention as we live on a busy junction and traffic noise is intrusive. We spoke about triple glazing but their sales man was adamant it was a waste of money? Once fitted we were not happy with two aspects. One was when windy you can here a whistling noise which wasnt present prior the the windows being installed. The second issue is the road noise reduction is very poor. Most of the time you think you haven't shut the window it is that bad! I think the problem is they have been badly fitted rather than an actual failing of the units themselves. They have of course been back but insist there is nothing wrong with the installation and nothing more they can do? I am so fed up I am considering getting Everest to fit triple glazing!

Stormclad installed my conservatory.Had excellent service from all members of staff that I dealt with. I was kept informed all through and the final project was excellent. The fitters Ian and Andy were superb always working no lunch break.Always arrived on time and worked through until 6:30pm. After they had finished each day they cleared any mess. A pleasure to have them work in my home.

This Company Stormclad, has done work for my Business in Derby. ( I intend to use their services again) ..I believe a good company should be reviewed and praised if the work and services provided warrant this. First class product, excellent installation and very easy company to deal with. I have dealt in the past with two of the major Derby based companies and had terrible issues with both, however, a small issue was raised and Stormclad answered almost instantly, no fuss, no questions. Great response, a genuine company in my experience.
