Agree with everything mentioned by Mr Day. All owner wants is your cash then does not care. Building inspector said it is the worst he has seen and to remedy problems the windows and doors need to be removed and fitted by someone who knows what he is doing. I am now taking him to court. He damaged my home and left dozens of problems behind including ruined wooden flooring due to rain coming into the house under the front door. Shocking and disgraceful avoid at all costs. Also anyone else with issues, Gemstone Windows are still registered at companies house until next April whilst I peruse them through the courts.

Would give 0 stars but not allowed. Windows fitted and flashing removed and not put back so wall became damp. New door fitted and the frame is warped and 4 locks had to be removed as door will not close plus glass panels now dropped so gap in panels, also let's in drafts because of the frame being warped. Rendering in around new windows fell out after 6 months. Did turn up especially for payment then not seen again and screens your calls then hides behind secretary and makes bullshit up about turning up the does not. Work was done in 2010. Don't be fooled by this company they have changed their name 3 times ones were called kestrel windows then gemstone windows and now gem home improvements they won't honour the warranty once they have gone under as I have been told by a lot of people. Shoddy workmanship and a spineless fool who runs the business . Avoid at all costs
