Where does one start !! Recommended by Kit Company… Not a good company to deal with when you have problems. The guarantee they give you isn’t worth the paper it’s written on. Directors of Company extremely rude and bad mannered… No customer care with this company…. 3 days to get all your windows in and checked …..Impossible on a new build. Bi folding door is certainly not new as being led to believe…. When trying to tell them these directors are not interested…. Please don’t fall into using this Company… Recommended the kit company which friends are using….. Steer clear of window company

Bought new build where windows and doors supplied and fitted by pine field glass. Aside from poor quality products and shoddy workmanship, their communication is non-existant. They claim to have phoned you when they haven’t and turn up on your door step unannounced to carry out repair work, often causing more damage to the beading etc in the process. Not one pain of glass in my house was in perfect condition and the window frames themselves are all damaged in one way or another. Avoid Cala and avoid Pinefield Glass like the plague as once Cala have your money they no longer consider sub standard work of sub contractors their problem. In fact it appears that it is generally accepted as standards are not what they used to be. However when you pay out a substantial sum of money for what is a new build and long term home, I think you are entitled to expect close to perfection.

I required a bespoke toughened glass sliding glass bathroom door - 10mm, frosted, with holes cored exactly per rail manufacturers instructions. I called around a few retailers in Aberdeen, either not interested or expensive. Then I called Pinefield in Elgin - got my measurements right 1st time, excellent customer service, safe delivery to AB41 ( with a smile) and at £110 cheaper than other retailers. Quality Sub Standard staff management manner atrocious received Windows one and a half years ago still waiting to get all blunders to be fixed so bad it is in solicitors hands not a happy customer
