Company Response

The issue that this customer had was never through fault of our company. We made 2 visits to the property on the first visit we could not see any signs of any leaks however one of the roof panels was discoloured compared to the rest so we thought it may have been in that area. We went away and ordered a new roof sheet and arranged a 2nd visit with the customer where we could allow for more time and come equipped with the new roof sheet. She did say she had tried to call in between then but I stated to her that unless she leaves a message especially after 3pm which is not our office hours I would not know to call back. She was told at the time it would be a couple of weeks. On the 2nd visit it was clear the drainage holes were blocked due to the amount of moss and rubbish on top of her existing house roof! We had to clear the guttering out, as well as unblock the drainage holes and replaced the roof panel for her (Really wasn't down to us). She was shown the moss that was blocking the holes causing it to leak as well as advised to get the house roof cleaned as it was full with moss and the problem would only occur again. She was more than grateful afterwards at the time we had spent there to rectify something that wasn't down to our building works - that is why am quite shocked and disapointed that she has left this review on here and has not changed it knowing we fixed a problem that was not our issue anyway! As for the comments made on the cash flow on our company I find this very defamatory and ironic as we spent half a day labouring there and bought new roof sheets for a customer when we did not need to.
