David Strouds team gave a good price to replace my conservatory roof. It's cracked the walls, nails exposed outside and rustyand electrical wires outside. It leaks every time it rains and the ceiling is sagging due to water ingress, when I say leak I mean mopping buckets of water. It's a mess 2 years and has not been put right situation made worse due to covid. Please learn from me spend a little more with with another firm. David is a nice guy but the Man I won't say his name who carried out the work clearly is not qualified in his trade appaling workmanship. Not even diy standards. After the 3rd flood Strouds replaced the kitchen floor as the sub floor and limestone floor tiles cracked. Internal electrical wiring is outside over the back gutter. If a building inspector saw this he or she would fail it. All the windows are leaning forward including the patio door,as they now swing open on their own. cracks have appeared on the outside wall. The list goes on, I am so cross I am taking legal advice. I paid £14000 for this roof not including floor tiles £1200, David paid for the floor tiler, replacing all the skirting boards paint the list goes on. AVOID STROUDS AT ALL COSTS CONTACT ME AND SEE FOR YOURSELF. I was so looking forward to getting this roof done. Never did I think I would be in this situation, that was for those people you see on TV programmes like "Builder's from hell" I've said enough don't use Strouds.
