Purchased windows, and a french door with 2 side windows from leeks november 2019, they were fitted the following june, it was understanable that the delay was due to covid.the fitters did a good job,but noticed that they were adding corogated pvc strips, i told them that the windows were foeled finish and the pvc was a different colour, they said it was what they,d been given, i made it clear that i wanted then changed, later in the day when rain stopped i wet out to clean the glass only to find that the strips on the french door was not the same as the windows each side, windows cleaned ,i sat in the lounge and as the sun came round we noticed that there was a shaded strip down each pain of glass, no amount of cleanig made a difference, it took 15 months to get them changed. I was told that modplan who make the windows for leeks, which i was not aware of when i ordered,would replace the glass. They came and in pouring rain changed the glass on the door they also took eff the pvc strips, thank god, they went on to remove the gass from th side windows, but found that they had measured them wrong,.new glass has the same problem..?
