Avoid Concept at all costs. This company has the worst after-sales support I've ever experienced, and their so-called “10-year warranty” is absolutely worthless — it doesn't cover a damn thing.
We chose Concept based on their reputation and local presence over several cheaper competitors. That was a huge mistake. We should’ve known better after their sales rep didn’t even show up to the first appointments — a clear red flag of how unprofessional and disorganised they are. The excuses that followed were laughable, and we were foolish to continue.
Our conservatory was installed just over 2.5 years ago (March 7, 2022). The installation team were decent, no complaints there. But everything after that has been an absolute nightmare.
Recently, a door restrictor bent and failed — a basic £15 part — and when I contacted Concept, I was blamed for the damage. Yes, blamed. According to Kevin, the so-called boss, “it’s supposed to do that” (what?!), and then he had the nerve to claim 45mph winds caused it. Not only was he wrong, but he even sent a screenshot of the wrong day’s weather as proof. The actual weather on Tuesday, 1st October 2025, when it happened, was 7mph winds — check it yourself. But of course, they don’t check records properly, nor do they seem to care.
I’ve been in the building industry for 30 years — I know the difference between quality and cheap tat, and Concept are definitely flogging the latter. Their products are clearly not premium, regardless of the price tag or the slick sales pitch.
To top it off, I’m now having to go to Citizens Advice over a £15 part, after handing over nearly £15,000 in cash to this company. And when I refused to pay over £100 for a call-out to fix their flimsy part, I ended up removing it myself — literally 2 screws. Not even a courtesy call after three days of waiting. Just more bullsh*t excuses and the kind of customer service that makes you feel like an inconvenience instead of a valued client.
The way I’ve been treated — like some sort of scumbag — is disgraceful. The rude phone staff, the condescending late-night emails, and the arrogant tone from Kevin have completely ruined any trust in this company. His cocky emails are a masterclass in how not to deal with customers. Zero empathy. Zero professionalism. Zero accountability.
It’s a real shame, because the installers actually did a solid job — but they’re being completely let down by the cowboys running the front of house and aftersales. And now, as we were about to get all our windows replaced, there’s no way I’d let Concept anywhere near another project.
So if you’re reading this, take my advice seriously: Concept are not the premium, trustworthy business they claim to be. Their warranty is a joke, their service is a disgrace, and once they’ve got your money, you’re on your own.

Appointment was booked for 6.30 pm last night (Monday 13 July) ----Would have been nice if someone had turned up - how unprofessional!!! Cannot be bothered to phone to see why they never called - shame ÂŁ10k of windows need but have had some great professional companies quote.
three new windows at the side of house. they installed the windows in the time they stated, they where on time, they cleaned up were they worked and the windows looked excellent when finished. The price for the work was the lowest quote as well.
