I tried for ages to get a heat pump installed, but most of the companies I tried never even bothered to reply. At last, after 18 months I had success, and a pump was installed. It has worked perfectly. However, due to an awkwardly placed tree, now gone, it was in the wrong place, and I wanted it re-sited. I emailed half a dozen businesses, most of them MCS-certified, and - as usual - nobody bothered to reply. One exception: Steve from Synergy got back to me promptly. He visited promptly. He quoted promptly. His team came promptly, and bang on time, and did a fast, neat job. Why are so many heat pump installers so bloody useless? Do they really not want the work? Thank you, Steve, for bucking the trend.

Having had solar panels fitted over last winter, I am happy to recommend Synergy as a supplier and fitter. They are an easy company to contact and deal with and return both calls and emails promptly. The requirements needed were made very clear in advance and the fitting was done on time and as promised. Having had a small issue around one electrical connector, the replacement part was fitted quickly and as agreed with the company. All in all, a very friendly professional set up.

An excellent all round package with competent explanations and survey, good communications and an efficient installation with the electrical preparatory work completed on one day and the panel installation on a chosen subsequent day. The Givenergy inverter and battery chosen works well with very good online monitoring of the whole system. Virtually no grid electricity used for the whole summer apart from showers and occasional use of main oven. Very pleased all round.

Great Broughton Ground Source Heat Pump Company Showcase - August 2023

Another great installation for Mr & Mrs Jones. Synergy were requested to tender for the removal of the oil heating sytem, and the installation of boreholes and a suitable Ground source heat pump. Once we had carried out the heat loss calculations, we chose to recomend one of the top of the range Heat pumps on the UK market, which was the Steibel Eltron Heat pump. This involved the drilling of 4 x 100 mtr Boreholes, with associated ground loops, then the heat pump installed with a new heat store, & hot water tank into the plant room. All resulted in a perfect installation, and the garden back as it was before we started, so a very happy client, who is saving money with Synergy Renewable Energy.

Synergy installed an16KW air-sourced heat pump, 13 solar panels and 3 fox batteries at our home. We needed to have a new hot water tank installed. This was not an easy job for various reasons, but Steve, Dave and the team delivered to our complete satisfaction. They always took a can do approach and were not phased by things. Thoroughly recommend.

All work was carried out on time and with no mess. The system was commissioned and left in perfect working order on the day it was promised . The system has been operating perfectly for 8 months. I would have no problems with recommending this company to others.

Richmond Heat Pump and Solar Company Showcase - May 2023

Mr & Mrs Stanwix were building a new property, as their forever home, Synergy were requested to quote for the Installation in Ravensworth, of a Samsung Air source heat pump and integrated solar panels with the Fox Battery storage. We also installed underfloor heating and radiators to the first floor.

We requested a quote from Synergy, 12 months prior to the eventual purchase of a ground source heat pump for a Barn conversion we were working on, it took a while to make our mind up, as combined with a Solar system, it was a lot of money on the whole project. But to be fair to Synergy they honored the first price they gave us. From the very first phone call and meeting, we felt at ease and comfortable with the information, plus the lack of pressure from Steve the director was refreshing, we had other companies who sometimes never even turned up, and when they did they wanted a decision, but once we committed to Synergy, David the Technical Director took over the whole installation process, and from starting the Boreholes to installing the Ground Source Heat pump and Solar PV, it was everything we had hoped it would be, and both systems are working a dream. If you want a trouble-free no-hassle installation, my wife and I would highly recommend this company and their team, including the ladies in the Office who were very professional.
