Following on from my negative report on 25 Jan there has been an update. Geoff made contact and continued to engage in contact. Came and fixed the issue, which was complex. Very pleased with the resolution
The work that was attempted did not work. Despite numerous promises to return to do a proper job Geoff has not returned. I requested a refund and Geoff initially promised to refund my money, but has stopped replying to my messages
G Owen of Kingsway Roofing installed some flashing to our dormer window but after 12 months the flashing split and buckled. I have been asking him to repair it now for the last six months with no luck. Over the last few weeks he has arranged to visit on at least four occasions but has never actually turned up. When I spoke to him yesterday on the phone I said if he was not going to do the roof I'd get someone else to do it but would need a refund in order to pay for it. Again, he promised he would be round today but it is now evening and still no communication from him. He is obviously not interested in putting faults right if he isn't going to make any money from it. Very poor after-service.
