We found an advert for Fairview in our local paper, they agreed to install a conservatory with central heating for us in Feb 2019. The central heating did not work as promised, they tried a few times to fix the issue, they eventually gave up. Despite not doing what they said they would, they sent us a threatening letter demanding payment in full. When we tried to explain to them that we weren't happy with the work - they were very rude, not nearly as patent as we had been with them. Feeling trapped, we agreed to pay them despite the outstanding problems to avoid further intimidation. We paid a British Gas engineer to come and survey the work they did complete - in summary it was found to be incredibly incompetent. Because of this, their rudeness and unwillingness to be reasonable - we felt we had no other option than to appeal to the small claims court. They didn't bother to show up, the judge awarded us the case. We are currently having to pursuing payment. They have caused us a lot of trouble, they just act as middle-men to local contractors, and if anything goes wrong they don't want to know - I would 100% recommend against anyone using this company.
