Had a leak in bedroom coming through my ceiling when it rained , got in touch with Dave and he came out as soon as he could and replaced a broken slate , not leaked since , great job.

During September 2103 I needed the ridge tiles on my roof re-secured and Dave came to do the work. I asked him to make sure that all the tiles including those on the hips were re-cemented back on which he claimed he did. 18 months later (April 2015) two of the hip tiles came off in high winds and imbedded themselves in the lawn - called Dave who came back out and supposedly re-cemented them back on again although he charged me for this claiming that it is not unexpected after 18 months and with high winds. Today (two years after Dave fixed them) I have had another roofer look at my roof as every single ridge tile is loose again and only held on by their own weight! There is no mortar under the tiles and it looks like Dave just pointed around the tiles rather than re-bed them properly as requested, because as this re-pointing has come away, there is seemingly nothing holding the tile on. Needless to say I am having them done properly before one comes away and kills someone stood underneath. I am also seeking advice from Trading Standards.
