Thrilled with complicated and significant roof repairs completed over the festive period. The job involved a multioccupancy block and Jim and his team had 7 owners and Aberdeen City Council to appease. The work was completed ahead of schedule , progress reports were provided throughout the 3 week period (drone photos and verbal updates) and the site was left clean and tidy. Particularly pleased because a few roofers turned this job down because of the complexity involved. Thanks Jim and co!

Jim turned up promptly to assess the damage (ridge tiles) and quoted for just the fallen tiles or for the whole ridge. I opted for the latter. He turned up at the agreed time and completed the work quickly at the agreed price. I am completely satisfied with the work and would definitely recommend and will be using again for future projects.

just spent £1250 repairing the damage these guys did to my house. they promised to return and finish what they had stared but no show. i informed jimmy that the guttering did not cover the whole roof and he said did the old gutter fit. told him after the first time we had rain the gutters started falling off and water had got into the house including my daughters bedroom and behind the fuse box to be told don't worry i will return and fix it. never saw them again. the flat roof still lifts in the wind and all the gutters ran backwards. i would strongly advise against using this company and would have no problem sharing photos that show the so called work they did. i found an absolute gem of a handy man who is in the process of correcting the damage to the gutters slates and internal walls. i have attached 4 photos but have many more. i would not recommend them to my worse enemy

Jim and his guys recently put a new roof on our house .He gave us a approximate start date and started very close to that date he gave us a call a week before the works started to keep us updated and kept us updated daily throughout the whole job we were very happy with the service provided and our garden was left very clean once the job was finished .The work was to a very high standard and guaranteed we would have no hesitation in recommending jim to anyone

due to recent weather we had a substantial amount of water coming in through our light fitting in the bedroom .I called jrs as soon as we noticed the guys came straight round the next day to check what the problem was they temporarily repaired it until the weather was good enough to do a proper job we've since had heavy rain and all is good .would recommend and use again.

JRS have re-slated our kitchen roof twice. The first time they re-slated (Feb 15) Jimmy used 2 Spanish guys who were not time served. They failed to grade the slates (Wile) resulting in huge gaps in the slating, they also failed to install a head course (double slate layer at the wall head), this resulted in water ingress and damage to the building. Jimmy was informed in July'15 and took 5 months to return and commence the re-work. He has now disappeared without finishing the job. This time (the 2nd re-slate) he has failed to bed the head course to the wall meaning there are gaps between the slating and the wall that are big enough to put your hand into. Unsurprisingly there is significant water ingress again. He has also failed to level the gutters which leak. He has left us with a piece of roofing membrane where a vent was supposed to go. We have communicated these issues to Jimmy by phone, text, email and one to one over a period of 8 weeks but he has consistently failed to do anything about them. Basically our house leaks like a sieve since jimmy has been. We are taking the matter up with trading standards and commencing legal action against him. Jimmy may be polite however it doesn't count for much when your house has been wrecked as a result of this defective workmanship. Do not go near this guy he is a rogue trader

Jrs installed dry verge on my house that came with a 10 year guarantee they also reprinted my ridges and replaced a few tiles I would highly recommend Jimmy and his guys

JRS power washed the roof, removing years of moss growth. Broken or slipped tiles fixed and ridge tiles repointed and roof sealed. Jimmy and his staff were great and made a good job, tidied any mess. I am happy to recommend them

Due to the recent heavy rain we discoverd we had water coming in our roof jrs were very quick to respond to our call and have a look and after no time sourced and repaired the problem which was a valley next to our dormer that had rotted and was basically beyond repair very satisfied with the price and workmanship that has been well tested the last few days Keep up the good work August 2014
